The Henry's Fork of the Snake
For those of you who have fished the West or just read about the many magnificent rivers we are blessed with, no doubt the Henry's Fork has crossed your mind. With its abundance of aquatic insect life and its finicky Rainbows it has become one of the most notoriously difficult fisheries in the world to fish. The Henry's Fork is located less than a 90 minute drive north of us.
The Henry's Fork is, for the most part, a gentle and meandering stream when compared to the South Fork. There are virtually miles of river that can be waded with little effort. Access to the river is not a problem.
Most of the guides here at South Fork Outfitters are also licensed through Henry's Fork Anglers to guide on the Henry's Fork and some of their surrounding waters. If you will be spending even a few days in the area, you might want to make plans to spend a day on the Henry's Fork. We can provide you with more information and arrange a guide trip to this great river.
Visit Henry's Fork Anglers web site for a complete view of the Henry's Fork and surrounding waters.
